Waking Up by the Maas

Watch the city wake up from 124 meters high on the Wilhelminapier. During the Day and Night of Architecture, the World Port Center opens its doors early in the morning. From the rooftop terrace, you’ll have a breathtaking view of the Nieuwe Maas and the city skyline. The Erasmus Bridge, Zalmhaven Tower, and De Rotterdam are right at your feet, while your gaze stretches far beyond the city limits. As the sun rises, you’ll be taken on a journey through Rotterdam’s transformation — a panoramic story paired with a panoramic view of the city and its ports.

To ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, the following conditions apply to your visit:

• We meet at the WPC at 04:45 sharp. At 05:00, we will head up with all participants. Please note: latecomers will not be allowed to join the tour, so be on time!
• Bring valid ID (driver’s license, ID card, or passport). Digital copies on your phone will not be accepted.
• Large bags, backpacks, food, and drinks are not allowed during the tour. You can temporarily store your belongings in the lockers in the main hall (limited availability).
